This snazzy sundress is available at www.topshop.com for £25
After doing my research I have discovered that all the top
fashion writers have declared the “hottest” trends for summer 2013:
-Stripes
-Neon
-Graphic prints
-Overalls
-And just a dash of the nineties.
What
does this mean in the world of style? A dress with fruit on it. Don’t get me
wrong; I think this dress is adorable. The shape is flattering, the print is
cute and fresh, and the material looks nice and airy. I just happened to be
amused by the fact that high fashion has provided us with a dress peppered with
pineapples (I couldn’t resist the alliteration). I think this dress symbolizes
everything we need: high trends made wearable. Sometimes seeing a trend on the
runway or in a magazine I get driven away from it, not drawn to it. Why is
that? Because everyone is so diddly-darn (yes, I just said that) set on being
outrageous. This dress is unconventionally patterned, but still cute and
wearable.
If I were going to style it, I see this dress worn with a
pair of strappy flat sandals, a big sunhat, and white circular sunglasses. How
would you?
