This outift makes me feel like an urban cowgirl

Riding the busses of New York City 

Wrangling up those clearance shoes from the "robbers" a.k.a "every other new yorker"

Replacing those cowboy boots with combat boots.

The bracelet is from that party. 

You know, the party that gives out the lighty-up things

Oh wait that is every party

The bracelet used to light up

but when I found it in my sisters closet it was broken

Darn it.

A Visit to the Land of the Forgotten Accessories

Let's just get this straight. 

I am in no way a jewelry person. 

If you look at past posts you will see that I am wearing almost no jewelry. 

To me jewelry just gets in the way. 

I dont know what got into me.

I was covered in jewelry yesterday. 

It all started at Urban Outfitters. 

(curse you Urban Outfitters and your awesome clothes/accessories/ everything)

Where I saw that awesome goddess-like headband. 

And I was like

and I quote

"I'm getting this"

(you were probably expecting a better quote)

Oh well. 

So then when I got home 

I just HAD to wear it. 

And then I found the ring. 

And then I found the necklace. 

All from the forgotten land of the accessories. 

The converse are more my speed. 

I actually got them for free at a Bat Mitzvah. 

I love Bat Mitzvahs. 

Especially the over-the-top ones.

It is where I re-fill my candy stash. 

It is also where I get my collection of hoodies for the next year. 

Or my converse, in this case. 

I took two pairs.

Shhhhhh.

Not only is this a collage of things I want, but it also doubles as my BIRTHDAY list.

I love my Birthday.

It is just like christmas except it is all for you.

I apologize for the giant space in the middle of the collage. 

The picture below the collage was supposed to fill up the empty area but it decided to disappear  every time I tried uploading it to my blog. 

1. Florals have become my favorite spring trend (if you couldn't already tell from the floral shirt and the pants I was wearing in various posts)

Not together

NO WAY

If I wore florals on florals I would be great at hide and seek.

I could hide in my grandma's curtains

or in actual flowers 

if they decide to bloom one day.

The Army should wear floral print instead of camo print 

it would probably do the same thing and look a whole lot better.

Florals are supposed to give a very girly and feminine look,

and since I am not one for stereo types 

especially in clothes 

I was drawn to the very unstereotypicalness (sorry not a word) of this. 

Not only is it chic, fitted and cropped compared to the flowy length of most floral dresses/skirts/shirts/everything else

but the black and white gives it a whole sophisticated look. 

When I first saw this shirt I had to look closer to see that it was a floral print. 

I dont know

 maybe I am blind. 

2. This headband is absolutely like no other. 

It is the modern take on an angel halo. 

I am dying to finish a look with it. You could add it to a bright sundress or a leather jacket. 

It works with BOTH.

3. Have you ever wished for a peacock feather phone case? 

If you haven't you should. 

This colorful case adds a pop of color to any outfit and the colors are perfect for spring. 

4. For my birthday I want a subscription to The Glam Bag.

It is very similar to BirchBox except without all that anti-aging and wrinkle hiding products.

I don't need that stuff yet. 

For those of you who aren't familiar with the BirchBox:

it is a subscription (similar to a magazine subscription)

except instead of getting a magazine every month

you get beauty products.

Think about it

it is like a birthday gift 

every month

for a YEAR.

How cool is that? 

5. When I see this all I can think of is RED. 

Sort of like Taylor Swift with her album Red.

A Little Bit of Spring

I am in love with this shirt.
 It is just bubbling with spring.
It is the perfect reminder of warmth in this cold weather.
These leggings are LIFE.
They are comfortable and cute at the same time.
Plus they go with absolutely everything.
It doesn't get much better than that.

P.S go RIGHT NOW to watch the new shoe "The Carrie Diaries". It is amazing and obsessive. Almost as amazing as putting on brand new clothes

The headband is from a fifth grade dance concert. 

We don't relive that concert.
